About Us

In December of 2025, we came 2nd in the south east regional finals, whilst also winning best pit display and fastest car. Through this, we are going to the SheffieldNational finals to compete a a higher level, against tougher opposition and where the stakes at at its highest.

We are a team based off chamge. We believe in that if we can change so parts of the world in what we do, then we can help make the world a better place.

We also belive that mindfulness is key and that a healthy mind and a educated mindest makes people more efficient and can help the enviroment around you.                                                                                                                                            Here are a few exercise that you can try to aid you mindfulness:

Seated Meditation: Maybe do a FOFBOC (Feet on Floor, Bum on Chair), and take into account all of your body's points of contact with your surroundings. What can you feel?

Mindful Eating: When you eat a food that you like, instead of eating it rapidly take a minute to savour the flavours. What do you taste?

5-4-3-2-1 method: A grounding technique for anxiety that involves identifying five things you can see, four you can touch, three you can hear, two you can smell, and one you can taste.

Box breathing: Hold your finger in the air and drag along time with the box. Breath in for 4 beats, hold for 4 beats, out for 4 and hold for 4 again.

7-11: Breath in for 7 and then breath out for 11. If you struggle the try a 5-7. The same except in for 5 and out for 7

STEM Racing

STEM Racing is an international competition designed to inspire the next generation of engineers, designers, and innovators in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Teams compete in designing, manufacturing, and racing miniature F1-style cars while building real-world skills in engineering, teamwork, marketing, and leadership.

Cognition

The competition consists of three levels: Regionals, Nationals, and the World Finals — and we're aiming for the very top.

Our school has a strong legacy in STEM Racing. The previous team, now mentoring us, made history by:

• Winning Regionals and Nationals convincingly

• Representing the UK internationally

• Finishing 5th in the world at the World Finals

With their knowledge and our drive, we believe we have what it takes to go even further.
